LAUNCH OF MENGO ZONAL INDUSTRIAL PARK IN KAYUNGA DISTRICT

Mengo  zonal industrial park for the construction of cottage and value additional industries was launched by the State House Controller Mrs Mrs Lucy Nakyobe Mbonye  in Nazigo subcounty ,Kayunga Distirict   and was attended by the District Chairpersons, Resident District Commissioners, Chief Administrative Officers, Production Officers, Commercial Officers, Environment Officers, Youth leaders from all the eleven districts that make up Mengo zone. (Kayunga, Wakiso, Mukono, Mpigi, Nakasongola, Luwero, Buikwe, Buvuma, Gomba, Butambala & Nakaseke)

This is a Presidential Innitiative geraed towards skilling the youth and industrialisation of the economy. The government through State house will providec all the necessary machinery needed in the establishment of cottage and value addition industries and also train the selected youth from the 11 districts in how to use these equipments.

State House will be the lead implementor and the Ministry of Local Government as the cordinator for this project.
